At IBM, I worked as a Graphic/UX Designer on the Data and AI Content team in the Software sector. I worked in a group of four with other designers and developers around the world in a design thinking bootcamp that spanned 6 weeks. This was an opt-in, IBM-wide program focused on enterprise design thinking and included an incubator project. This project was completed after 4 weeks, leveraging the design thinking practices in a team setting to solve a cross-disciplinary problem within IBM.
Carbon is IBM’s open source design system for products and digital experiences. Anyone can help contribute to the design library. The process needed to be investigated, as the Carbon team felt it needed to be streamlined. My team and I conducted a full design thinking study and research analysis. Below is a slide deck of our entire process.
